How it all began – and how i tell stories

I’m Maria – a wedding photographer based near Munich.
I document weddings all across Europe – with a special love for South Tyrol and Italy. Places where light, landscape and emotion often come together naturally to create the perfect backdrop for honest, heartfelt wedding stories.

My photography is timeless, elegant and honest.
I’m drawn to clean compositions, soft light and genuine, unposed moments. I work in a documentary style – always discreet, with an eye for what often happens quietly in the background.

Over the years, I’ve had the honour of capturing more than 100 weddings – from Bavaria and Austria to South Tyrol and beyond. What began as a hobby quickly turned into a passion with my very first wedding. After studying at the Munich Academy for Television and completing a second degree in photographic design, photography became my full-time profession.

What I love most about wedding photography? The emotions. The quiet gestures. And the trust my couples place in me. I’m a sensitive observer – thoughtful, calm and always close to the moment. I fully immerse myself in your day. Many couples tell me afterwards that they hardly noticed me – to me, the highest compliment for what I do.

I believe that good wedding photos are more than just beautiful – they let you feel something. Something real. Not loud or overdone, but honest and lasting.

Outside of weddings, I love Italian food, long walks and good conversations with the people closest to me. I enjoy travelling off the beaten path, skiing in winter, visiting art exhibitions and losing myself in thick photography books. And yes – I do have a weakness for French fries with ketchup…

All of this gives me balance, inspiration and the calm energy I need to be fully focused on your day.

And maybe this is where our story begins – with images that stay with you for a lifetime.

Love, Maria
