A BRITISH-AusTrian Wedding at maria plain
Some weddings leave a lasting impression.
Veronika and Ben’s day at Maria Plain was one of them – stylish, elegant, and focused on what truly matters.
Ceremony at Maria Plain
The baroque church of Maria Plain sits high above Salzburg and creates a unique atmosphere – calm, graceful, and deeply impressive. It’s a place that immediately drew me in.
A string quartet accompanied the ceremony, and the setting inside the church did the rest. Nothing more was needed.
A Short, Quiet Portrait Session
After the ceremony, we took a short walk around the grounds for some portraits – maybe 15 or 20 minutes, relaxed and simple.
No posing, no timeline – just a quiet moment for the two of them.
The view over Salzburg, the warm September light, the stillness around us – it all came together naturally and suited them perfectly.
The details matched that same tone: soft pastel flowers, a timeless colour palette, nothing too much, everything thoughtfully chosen.
Why Maria Plain Is Perfect for an Elegant Wedding
Maria Plain is more than a beautiful backdrop – it has something special.
For couples who value atmosphere, style and meaning, it offers a sense of presence without ever feeling overdone.
This wedding was a quiet reminder that true elegance doesn’t ask for attention. It just is.
